Reading reflections are designed to encourage students to complete readings before coming to class, to reflect more deeply on the content of the reading, to make personal meaning from the meaning, and to develop their metacognitive skills for lifelong learning.Aug 10, 2019
When writing a reflection paper on literature or another experience, the point is to include your thoughts and reactions to the reading or experience. You can present what you observed (objective discussion) and how what you experienced or saw made you feel and explain why (subjective discussion).
Include a topic sentence that briefly summarizes your thoughts and feelings, then go on to clarify your topic sentence by providing more details and specific examples. You might wrap up by summarizing what you’ve learned or how your experience has changed your thoughts or feelings on the topic in question.

For example, suppose the point (6, 7) is reflected over y = x. The coordinates of the reflected point are (7, 6). Reflection: Easier Said Than Done
Build time into the course for reflection. Use a tool [such as in Stream LXP (formerly Curatr)] to prompt learners to reflect at the end of a course. Encourage reflection as a habit within the workplace. Encourage one-to-ones after key learning experiences that get them talking.

Reflection is a process of exploring and examining ourselves, our perspectives, attributes, experiences and actions / interactions. It helps us gain insight and see how to move forward. Reflection is often done as writing, possibly because this allows us to probe our reflections and develop them more thoughtfully.
