Open the class that the Parent is connected to. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of your screen and select “Invites families” Scroll down to the Parent account you want to disconnect and tap on that connection. Tap “Disconnect parent” from the pop-up and confirm you want to disconnect that parent.

In order to officially drop a class, you often have to visit your academic counselor or the school office and fill out a form that may need to be signed by the teacher of that class. Many high schools only allow students to drop a class before a certain deadline.
Instructors, you can remove yourself from unneeded courses, such as unused, unpublished courses from current or past semesters. In Canvas, click the Courses menu, and click “Remove me from unneeded courses”.
Teachers receive email notifications when students submit their assignments. When you unenroll from a class, you will no longer see it in Classroom, but all your class files are stored in your Google Drive.

When viewing the Assignment list, click the three dots next to the assignment you want to unassign and click Edit. To unassign it from the entire class, click the trash can icon next to the class name.
