The factor game allows numbers 1 – 100 to be used ONCE by a team (or player) in coming up with factors of the number chosen by the other team (or player). In this case, we are talking about a brand new round of the game, so all 100 numbers are available.
The number must be a factor or multiple of the first number. Players continue to take it in turns to cross out numbers, at each stage choosing a number that is a factor or multiple of the number just crossed out by the other player. The first person who is unable to cross out a number loses.

200, 400, 900, 1200, 2000, 300000 are multiples of 100. They all end in at least two zeros. 50, 240, 1430, 1650 are NOT multiples of 100.

factor, in mathematics, a number or algebraic expression that divides another number or expression evenly—i.e., with no remainder. For example, 3 and 6 are factors of 12 because 12 ÷ 3 = 4 exactly and 12 ÷ 6 = 2 exactly. The other factors of 12 are 1, 2, 4, and 12.

Definition of Factors
Factors are numbers which you can multiply together to get another number. For Example : The numbers 2 and 3 are factors of 6 because 2 x 3 = 6.
The factor bug is a visually stimulating method of finding factors and suitable for use with younger students. After finding the factors of 18, the factors of 17 are found. The fact that 17 only has two factors indicates that 17 is a prime number.
Arrange the four number cards (1, 2, 3 and 21) on the grid above to make a diagonal, vertical or horizontal line. You can put a number card on a square with. a multiple of that number. a factor of that number.
The factors of 132 are, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 11, 12, 22, 33, 44, 66, and 132.

After kids learn multiplication, a typical 4th grade math curriculum then dives into factors and multiples. Factors are what numbers can be multiplied together to so that they make another number (e.g., 1, 2, 3, and 6 are factors of 6).

We use greatest common factors all the time with fractions, and as fractions are used a lot in everyday life, this makes GCF very useful! By finding the GCF of the denominator and numerator, you can then successfully simplify a fraction or ratio. E.g. We can simplify 3045 by knowing that its HCF is 15 .

1 is the only number which has only single factor, that is, 1 itself.
