Word problems commonly include mathematical modelling questions, where data and information about a certain system is given and a student is required to develop a model. For example: Jane had $5.00, then spent $2.00. How much does she have now?
Two-step word problems are problems in which two separate calculations (usually different operations) are required to reach the answer. By different operations we mean addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.
The word problems need to be solvable.
The problems don’t need to be overly complicated; a simple problem that requires critical thinking will do the trick. Many standardized tests will create tricky verbiage when giving word problems and claim that this makes the problem harder to solve.
A one-step equation is an algebraic equation you can solve in only one step. You’ve solved the equation when you get the variable by itself, with no numbers in front of it, on one side of the equal sign.

The problems consist of the Riemann hypothesis, Poincaré conjecture, Hodge conjecture, Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture, solution of the Navier-Stokes equations, formulation of Yang-Mills theory, and determination of whether NP-problems are actually P-problems.
The best way to determine what operations you will need to introduce to the values that are presented in the problem is to read the problem carefully and look for words that indicate what is being asked of you. There are many different types of words and phrases that will indicate a certain operation.
If by ‘simplest’ you mean easiest to explain, then it’s arguably the so-called ‘Twin Prime Conjecture’. Even schoolchildren can understand it, but proving it has so far defeated the world’s best mathematicians. Prime numbers are the building blocks from which every whole number can be made.

They learn to read and express whole figures and decimal in extended form. They also learn to order the numerical forms in the seventh grade Math.
