Show Gratitude. The last day of student teaching is a great time to express your appreciation to your students, cooperating teacher and administrators. You could present them with a gift and/or letter to let them know how much you appreciate all they did to make your experience great.
Show how much you care about each one of them with a message just for them. Talk about things that you discussed together, areas that the student improved, and more. You don’t have to write a novel for each student, but a quick line or 2 would be a great way to say goodbye to students individually.
We will really miss you and your wonderful teaching skills. As you leave the school, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors and hope you will keep in touch with us from time to time.
I’ll be leaving my position as [job title] here at [Company], and my last day will be [date]. I wanted to reach out to let you know that I’ve so enjoyed working with you during my time here. It’s been a true pleasure getting to know you better!
One last way to conclude the school year virtually is to create an end-of-the-year sign-off. Have students create a video, poem, Slide, or another multimedia project. Then, you can use sites like Flipgrid or Padlet to post them for all of the students in your class to see.
HouseParty is a video-chat app that allows one to multiple games like Trivia and Charades with friends online. Maximum number of participants allowed are 8. The app is available on both iOS and Android devices. It allows users to play games online while talking to friends.
A virtual event is simply an event that you’re hosting online, or virtually. Instead of getting together in person at a live event, people gather in a shared online space to meet, learn, and have fun. While virtual events are traditionally for businesses, you can host most kinds of parties and events online.
